The Lehigh valley unit is comprised of Berks, Carbon, Lehigh, North Hampton, and Schuykill counties.
SPRING MEETING
Hello again from your Unit chair. Our upcoming meeting will be held at the McCann Business & Technical school in Pottsville,Pa. Our unit geographic area takes in five counties thus I am trying to move the meetings around so we can reach more of our members and increase exposure to new members.
Please come out members and non-members to support your profession. Many opportunities exist to get involved. Being at a school that provides Massage Therapy education, you will get to meet recent and soon to graduate massage therapy students. Our profession is growing and evolving quickly. Come and network and grow with it.

Saturday October 17, 2009 .....meeting results!
The Lehigh Valley Unit held their Fall meeting on October 17 at the Good Shepherd Rehab Center in Allentown.
Laird MacCubbin, unit chair, and Joanne Mengel, EDR, discussed the effects of licensing and the application process.
Laird introduced Amber Pinkey Evans, an instructor at Lincoln Tech's massage program, who then went into detail regarding the NCTMB and MBLEX exams. Amber presented a study guide for individuals to prepare for the exams and explained the importance of continuing education.
Refreshments were served and the meeting was adjourned at 1:00.
