COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course provides the student with the most up-to-date research information on the condition of Fibromyalgia and provides the student with an in-depth understanding of the variables that contribute to the development and maintenance of this disorder. Studies are provided with information to identify tender points and students are instructed on manual procedures to address these points. Myofacial Pain Syndrome is also discussed within the content of this class. Current psychological research is included in this lecture and treatment options are discussed in detail.
WHAT TO BRING: 1 set of sheets, oil-free massage lotion, large towel, bolster and writing materials.
