The Southeast (Philly) Unit meeting was held on Sunday, March 27, at the Cortiva School in King of Prussia.
Registration began at 9:30 followed by a Meet & Greet yogurt/coffee gathering.
The education began a little late due to the logistics of an overflow crowd of 50 plus which was a very nice problem to resolve. Maureen Staudt, RN, NCTMB presented an introduction to Zero Balancing.
New officers were installed during the business meeting: Carol Dean, Chair. Trish Issak, Vice Chair and Thomas Duffy, Secretary. Chrissy Oberholtzer, departing Chair, was recognized with a gift certificate for her outstanding leadership. Thank you Chrissy.
Joanne Mengel, EDR fielded a stream of questions regarding licensure.
Lynn Leach, Chair of the Membership Committee, explained the function of this new committee and asked for volunteers from the unit.
Following lunch, the students of Cortiva provided bodywork for the members. The Unit Officers presented those attending with a well filled gift bag, compliments of local massage suppliers.
