The Central District includes the following counties: McKean, Potter, Tioga, Bradford, Elk, Cameron, Clinton, Lycoming, Sullivan, Columbia, Montour, Northumberland,

Snyder, Mifflin Huntingdon, Blair, Juniata, Perry, Dauphin, Cumberland, Bedford, Fulton, Franklin, Adams and York. As you can see from the list, we cover a lot of territories.

Spring, 2008

South Central PA AMTA's spring meeting will be Sat. April 19, 2008 

PA Myotherapy Institute. 

Speaker: Camille Baughman will be presenting "Words that serve: Living a Life you

can live with--communication that makes a difference."  This is a fun-filled and

informative workshop that teaches Ethics and Communication through

role-playing, lecture, group brainstorming and rhythm activities using

percussion instruments and sound.

Fall Meeting 2007

Thirty-two people attended the South Central PA AMTA’s fall meeting on Sept. 29, 2007.  The meeting was held at the

PA Myotherapy Institute in New Oxford, PA.  A business meeting was held and then Alice E. Fair of Monrovia, MD presented

Beginner Reflexology for the Massage Therapist.  All therapists traded reflexology sessions during this 4-hour class and found

reflexology to be very relaxing.   Alice presented a long and short reflexology session to be integrated into a massage session. 

Refreshments were served.

The South Central PA AMTA's spring meeting will be Sat. April 19, 2008 at the PA Myotherapy Institute. The school will be

moving from New Oxford to Abbottstown, call for directions.  Camille Baughman will be presenting "Words that serve: Living

Spring Meeting 2007

Thirty-four people attended the spring South Central PA AMTA meeting on Saturday, April 21st, 2007. 

The meeting was held at the PA Myotherapy Institute in New Oxford, PA. 

Following a brief meeting officers were re-elected for a two-year term: 

Deb Stuff Gist, chair, Brenda Morrison-Bowser, co-chair, and Peggy Williams, secretary.

Donna Brown, holistic nurse and clinical aromatherapist, presented the 4-hour CEU program on aromatherapy.  Donna provided

5 different carrier oils for sampling and 10 different essential oils for the massage therapist to use and smell.  Everyone took home

samples and a booklet of information.  Breakfast snacks and drinks were provided. 

The fall meeting will be Saturday, Sept. 29th, 2007 at the PA Myotherapy Institute.
