ADVANCED MYOFASCIAL PAIN & DYSFUNCTION

TECHNIQUES, RELATING TO MECHANICAL LOW BACK PAIN

Participants learned In this Hands-On Class, specific myofascial techniques,

which include Orthopedic Evaluation, Trigger Point techniques, and PNF stretches, relating

to the lumbar-pelvic region.  Examples of most common complaints are

SI Joint Dysfunction, Piriformis Syndrome/Sciatic Pain Herniation, Facet Syndrome, and Groin Pain.

 

Cynthia Ribeiro, Massage therapist, Educator and Owner of WIN Therapy, a massage school that specializes

in neuromuscular therapy and orthopedic massage, has 18 years of experience within the field of

ETHICS AND TODAYS THERAPISTS

Participants learned the broad scope of ethical boundaries, and through critical thinking , discussion

and role playing explore the limits of boundaries. They also learned how to empower each therapist with their own professionally

accepted boundaries and to explore ethical situations  which will challenge participants to make good decisions as to how they

respond.
